Richard’s mission is to assist individuals and corporate entities in creating and implementing effective strategies to minimize and resolve legal challenges. Before joining HORTON & ARCHIBALD, P.C. in 2006, Richard was an attorney in the Litigation and Regulatory, and Financial Services sections of WEIL, GOTSHAL & MANGES LLP. Richard concentrates his law practice on litigation in federal and state courts, and in arbitration. He has a broad range of litigation experience in areas such as business contract disputes, restrictive covenant disputes, real estate litigation, employment and labor litigation, securities litigation, insurance coverage disputes, consumer claims, and bankruptcy litigation. In addition, Richard represents clients in the formation and internal governance of various forms of business entities, and has advised clients in connection with various types of business contracts.
Richard has engaged in appellate practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas.

Garon’s mission is to help his clients succeed. Success often lies beyond legal, regulatory, political, economic, and relational obstacles. Garon assists individuals and entities in navigating these obstacles, properly identifying problems and securing meaningful solutions.
Before founding his own law firm in 2000 (now HORTON & ARCHIBALD, P.C.), GARON practiced law in the litigation section of Hughes & Luce, LLP (now K&L Gates, LLP). Garon concentrates his law practice on providing legal solutions for individuals and businesses in the areas of civil litigation (including dispute resolution), real estate, general business and estate planning – areas in which he has extensive experience.
Garon has engaged in civil trial work before state courts in Collin, Dallas, Hunt, Kaufman, Midland, Rockwall, and Tarrant Counties as well as United States Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western & Southern Districts of Texas and United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern & Western Districts of Texas.
